Bamaci is a new men's accessories label which required a logo and website for it's launch.

The label needed an identity that would appeal to status conscious alpha males. It should evoke the associations and values of established fashion brands. In particular, a sense of luxury and exclusivity was desired.

The website offers an approximation of a boutique shopping experience. Large, glossy photographs reflect off polished surfaces, displaying the product at it's best in an uncluttered environment.

Of note is the shopping basket design, which slides down into view when the shopping basket icon is clicked.

Inspiration

Thinking for a Living

Serious inspiration, on tap. Thinking for a Living is an online magazine for designers and other aesthetes. The main attractions for me are the thoughtfully written feature articles and the carefully curated list of links.

Pictory

Pictory is a beautifully designed and tightly curated photography showcase. The combination of large beautiful images with human stories delivers a compelling experience, not dissimilar to that of pouring over a high quality book.

SouthSouthWest

SouthSouthWest is a Melbourne based design studio responsible for putting out razor sharp work. When I need to remind myself why I love what I do, I'll visit their portfolio to see design as good as it can be.

Mash

Mash makes beautiful and surprising design for enlightened clients. Interestingly, they do a lot of wine label work, and they're amazing. All packaging should be this good!
